THE ROSE CAULDRON

The Rose Cauldron is located in the Greenwood neighborhood of so-called Seattle which is the unceded territory of the Duwamish, traditional stewards if this land.
We are a new organization that is still curious about what exactly this space and project will become. The cauldron is evolving in real time.
The building is a cute lil’ store front that was built in 1904 and has seen substantial remodeling over the years. Decades ago it was a hair salon, and it has been a haven for art weirdos for many years.
Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to build a community third place, tended with care, which centers relationship to community including humans, animals, plants, land, place, and spirit.
Our vision is to provide sanctuary for queer and trans folks, and people working towards collective liberation (activists, care workers, artists, organizers, witches). We strive to build reciprocal community, joy, nourishment, connection and support both mental and physical. This space is starting as community center with intention of turning into a temple.
Because this space and magic work is relational, the mission and vision are evolving.
